CRAH supply air temperature high in Data Hall 2

One alert, the records around it, a drafted work order, and where that work sits. The operator still accepts anything that isolates equipment.

CRAH-2B supply air temperature high

Data Hall 2 · Asset CRAH-2B · Setpoint 18.0°C

Observed

  • Supply air 27.4°C and rising about 0.4°C per minute.
  • Filter differential pressure 248 Pa on CRAH-2B. Baseline for this unit is 110 Pa.
  • WO-1184 closed six hours ago on adjacent CRAH-2A, belt inspection. This unit was not in that job.

Agent analysis

Likely restricted airflow from a loaded filter on CRAH-2B.

Supply temperature is climbing while filter ΔP is more than double baseline. The neighboring CRAH was just worked; CRAH-2B’s last filter record is outside the SOP interval. Chilled-water valve position is already near full open, so the coil is not the first explanation.

SOP-CRAH-FLT-04 · filter ΔP above 200 Pa

No isolation is recommended until an operator accepts the work order.

Replace CRAH-2B supply filters

  1. Confirm the supply fan VFD is at minimum and isolate under the site LOTO before opening the filter section.
  2. Record filter ΔP, supply air temperature, and valve position.
  3. Replace the supply filters. Mark the set and the date on the frame.
  4. Restore the fan. Verify ΔP is under 140 Pa and supply air is trending back to 18.0°C.
  5. Close the order with gauge photos and the new filter batch number.
